The collection entitled ‘Bláthanna’ was inspired by the freedom of nature which is evidenced in the structure and flow of the garments. The soft organic applique and delicate line-drawn details complement the clean-cut structured lines and folds of the garment shape and structure. This collection aims to empower the wearer to become more confident, radiant and make those around them look a little closer. There is a quiet elegance within the collection. Each look is sophisticated but not daring, occasion wear suited for a high fashion event. The classic fluidity of the garments is adorned with an appliqued piece of my textile art. My customer is someone who likes to blend in, but when you spend time in their company, you will come to appreciate that there is a hidden depth to them. Their style goes deeper than just aesthetic, and they often find new ways to explore their creativity in an understated way. She has a love for nature, being in rural areas is home but often spends time in a fast-paced city life. In her downtime, she spends time engaging with her love for art and capturing the beauty in nature, through photography and painting.
