The Bitter Sweet Misunderstanding

A short comedic animation about two high school students (Mia and Rio) liking each other but failing to showcase that to one another. This results in a frustrating comedic situation which leads to a heartwarming final confession. The show is aimed toward a teenage or young adult audience as they are still familiar with the school setting. This allows them to put themselves in the shoes of the main characters. The movie starts with a dog like girl Mia who brings a cookie shaped as a heart to her crush Rio. She finds it easier to showcase her emotions through actions, as saying it out loud would be rather embarrassing. This flirt attempt however, goes completely over Rio’s head. With misunderstanding after misunderstanding occurring, both characters end up slightly hurting one another, which finally pushes the guy to say the words “SUKI DA” – I like you.
