I aim to raise awareness about the existence and usage of Roman numerals in the modern world. My target audience includes individuals aged 13 and above who wish to expand their knowledge on this topic. As a supplement to the weekend edition of the newspaper, I plan to create an A4 book/guide that serves as a comprehensive resource on Roman numerals. The main objective of this book is to capture the audience's interest and guide them through the usage of Roman numerals. It comprises 36 pages that are divided into six titles, with each title having a font size of 48 pt. Every ten-point title spans across two pages, with each letter having its own explanation and origin, starting from the letter āIā. I utilized a black and red colour scheme along with a white page to create a visually appealing hierarchy. I used different scales, colours, weights and font sizes to enhance the design. The headings and body text were created in Garamond font, whereas Begum was used for Roman numerals. Additionally, I included quotes and created patterns to break down the dry information. The book's design is intended to be clean, visually attractive, and have ample white space. I believe that this book will serve as a valuable resource for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of Roman numerals and how they are utilized in today's world.
