A documentary highlighting the rise in animal cruelty and illegal puppy farms around the country, while also including some interviews from pet owners sharing their viewers and experiences in adopting rescue animals. The aim of this documentary is to try raise awareness to the ongoing dog theft around Ireland in the past year. While conducting some very insightful interviews with some pet owners this showed an audience how loving rescue pet are when welcomed into your home. Although I wanted to have a happy and joyful view on this topic of adoption rescuing animals. By showing the seriousness of this issue, was needed to get across the message of how animal theft has drastically increased in the past year. With the inclusion of a selection of interviews from pet owners allowed for a more interesting variation of stories and allowed for a more visual storytelling approach. The target audience to this documentary doesn’t fit into a selected category of viewers. However, I hope the main message to this documentary is clearly understood to everyone to adopt rather than buy.
