Laoch

Inspired by the resurgence of Irish mythology, each ensemble draws inspiration from ancient Irish legends. The first look draws from the tale of the Children of Lír, a narrative depicting three siblings cursed to live as swans for nine hundred years. The second look delves into the Ulster Cycle, drawing inspiration from the tragic tale of Deirdre of Sorrows, a young woman who is cursed by her profound beauty. The remaining look three is inspired by the Finn Cycle, centred around the mystical tale of an enchanted deer. Throughout the collection, I used a cross-smocking pattern, reminiscent of Celtic knots and spirals, to create a cohesive aesthetic.
